CABLE BOLT
CABLE BOLT
Cable bolts are flexible anchoring systems widely used in both underground and open-pit mining. Their primary function is to stabilize and control large masses of rock and slopes, enhancing the safety of structures and preventing gallery collapses. These bolts allow the load to be varied based on the number of cables used, offering a customizable solution for the specific needs of each project.
Our cable bolts are made from high-strength steel cables, specifically grade 1860MPa, ensuring exceptional durability and performance. We offer various types, including single-cable bolts and those with bulbs, adaptable to different geological conditions. Thanks to their characteristics, they provide excellent tensile strength, significant shear capacity, and outstanding flexural resistance, making them ideal for effectively preventing lateral strata movement and ensuring long-term excavation stability.
Cable bolts are especially effective for controlling unstable rocks, both in mining projects and underground infrastructure construction. They are essential for stabilizing slopes and preventing rockfalls, enhancing safety for workers and the overall structure.
ADVANTAGES OF ITS USE
Plain or bulb cables to reinforce the resin mix, achieve anchorage, and pre-tension
Frequency and diameter of the bulbs according to customer specifications, with diameters ranging from 21mm to 38mm
Hooks placed at the top of the cables for retention before grouting
Resin can be applied for immediate point anchorage and grout for permanent support
